Sunbelt BC Business Brokers is part of the largest business brokerage in the world. For this company it was crucial to develop a website that would enable the business to expand and attract new costumer leads. A business in this type of industry fully depends on the internet; their website is therefore an extremely valuable asset.
For this website I built from scratch both the front-end and the back-end (I didn't use any CMS). The front-end displays information about the company, their processes for buyers and sellers, and important information about the businesses for sale. These "Businesses for sale" pages are completely dynamic and can be updated by the client through the back-end. For the design of this website I focused on making it cross-browser compatible, user-friendly and accessible. This site meets AA accessibility levels.
The back-end was custom designed and allows the client to manage the dynamic pages. They can create, edit, view and delete the content for the pages as well as create user accounts for their employees and post the latest news to the front page. The development of the back-end was hand-by-hand with the design of the database, which was a crucial step in this design process. I worked closely with the client to identify their specific needs and therefore design a user-friendly back-end that would fully meet their requirements.
